Each Ride averages 65 miles per day, with an additional century option each day.
This year, you can join us for one day OR two days of riding!
You’ll have the opportunity to relax at our overnight camps, which include indoor cabins, hot catered meals, and hot showers. On Sunday, there will be a closing ceremony on the last day to celebrate the efforts and dedication of every rider and crew member.
GYGIG’s events provide an opportunity to overcome physical and emotional challenges within a supportive Ride community. By completing the Ride, many participants find physical strength and emotional resolve they never even knew they had.
During the Ride, cyclists will be fully supported by the staff and the devoted, all-volunteer crew. GYGIG provides route support, including fully stocked rest stops, sweep vehicles, and baggage transport between camps.
Most important, and the hallmark of all of our Rides since 2004, is the valuable opportunity to draw strength and support from fellow riders and volunteers, many of whom are touched in some way by the potentially devastating effects of Crohn’s and colitis. Wherever the Rides take you, you’ll always be supported by the solidarity of your peers. Whatever you may need, whether it’s a helping hand or maybe just someone to talk to, it’s only a few pedal strokes away.
All routes are well suited to either a properly trained novice or a seasoned rider.
